I love this story Lee Anne. I'm on the board of an organization in. the Berkshires called Community Access to the Arts. We provide visual and moving arts workshops for people with disabilities. Art connects us in deeply meaningful ways and the work that is produced by our artists is extraordinary and moving. Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention . I love to play with ICM!
Thanks so much, Elaine. How wonderful that you are on the board of what sounds like a great organization! Yes, there is a deep connection between creativity, art and healing.
Wonderful images - and what a brilliant way to harness the "now" of life. Congratulations, Kristin! And thanks, Lee Anne, for sharing. The story and the outcome are profound lessons for us all.
Yes, the results can be very cool. In this case, Kristin was no longer physically able to do those other things she had previously found interesting. She had to give up control and embrace a new way of seeing and working. I love the way she adapted!
Such an inspiring story and beautiful creative pieces. Love these.
Thanks so much, Francesca. I will share your comments with Kristin.
I love this too. the photos are gorgeous. I would like to know how to do this -- kicking the tripod? thank you for sharing this.
Thanks, Vivien. Kristin describes her process in the article...no tripod involved. And although it is not a how-to article, you can gain a bit of insight from my last post: https://leeannewhite.substack.com/p/creative-play-with-intentional-camera

Thanks so much for your comments, Ellen. And I so agree with you on Kristin's harnessing the "now" of life!
How wonderful to turn a disability into a positive! We can’t control sometimes what life hands out to us! Bravo, Kristin!
So agree with you, Lynne. Thanks for commenting!
I do it sometimes, … mostly when there’s nothing more interesting to do. Results can be 😎 cool
