Love the photograph. Perhaps a bit early, but I do hope you have plans to offer workshops in 2024. Best wishes, James

Thanks James. And yes, I will be teaching workshops in 2024. I still have two workshops left in 2023 (An Intimate Portrait of Place, Maine, Oct 9-13) and Photographing Plants in the Studio (online, launching Oct 23). In 2024, I've so far committed to teaching Advanced Nature Studio (online, launching Jan 8) and two workshops in Maine (details coming soon). I'm still working on my schedule and will likely offer one or two others, as well. You can always check the LEARN tab on my website for the latest details: www.leeannewhite.com. Hope to see you in a workshop!

For the remainder of the year, I've got two workshops (advanced B&W printing (ME) and the other a pre-pandemic trip to Navajoland that has been canceled and rescheduled so many times I lost count. I am excited to learn that you will be offering workshops in 2024. Best wishes, James

I absolutely love this photo! Those tones and textures softened by the early morning light or lack of it... just beautiful! Early morning is one of my favorite times to shoot. I love the quiet, I love the birdsong, I love the feeling of waking up with the world outside. Thanks for sharing this, Lee Anne!

Thanks so much, Sara. It can be challenging to find quiet places in the world today, but they do exist, and most often in the early morning. I believe we need them more than ever.

Yes, early is often really beautiful. This view is from Heckscher Drive near Little Talbot Island SP.

Thanks so much, John. It’s nice to hear from you. I wish I could see the photo, as Little Talbot Island is a frequent haunt of mine and I love your work. I don’t believe Substack allows photo uploads in responses, however.
